  * Agent’s authority ends immediately
  * Confidentiality duties continue after termination
  * Agent may be entitled to compensation if earned
  * Principal may be liable for wrongful termination

  * Actual notice to agent and third parties is recommended
  * Apparent authority may continue without proper notice
